HKC

We have administered the HKC Survey annually in October since 2005 to students in grades 6-12.  The survey measures student health behaviors.  We use this data to monitor student behavior, identify prevention and intervention needs, and measure our progress on various health behaviors over time.

Parents must give consent for students to participate in this survey and students voluntarily take the survey.  Parents receive a passive consent form prior to the administration date.  Parents only need to send the survey back if they do not want their child to participate.   For more information about this survey, please contact Katrina Ruggles at [email protected] or 719-754-2232.

Colorado Healthy Kids Colorado Survey

Students all over the state of Colorado take the Healthy Kids Colorado Survey.  Comparing the data from our school is helpful to get an understanding if our data is better or worse than the average for Colorado.
